Two days ago I felt that not enough was being done to free the people out of bondage. I'm in Los Angeles and it is all revealed here... poverty, opulence, homeless, jobless (the LA Times had 1 page of job ads...) It is all here and the dicotomy of it is deep. It keeps me in a constant state of awareness, and driving me to I GOTTA DO SOMETHING NOW!
My spirit's engine got a tune up when I saw this film, GhettoPhysics. It discusses it all, all the woe, all the wealth, all the theivery and lies. It woke me up and showed me another take on what is going on, and why a lot of things are not moving forward, economy, jobs, homelessness....
One of the most moving scenes for this mind was the 3rd Reich scene and the tickertape animation of what Hitler was really saying, as he duped millions to conform to his genocidal mind.
Watch it, and find other brilliant methods of revving up our spirit, from depression, from off the couch and from behind the TV!
